Re: Setlists of the World Tour 2010
Hi,
Another update of my file now that the European shores are left behind...
http://www.maartenmassa.be/LCdocs/LC_Wo ... tlists.pdf
Please have a look at the final European concerts, because I have added some "Never Got To Love You" 's and the other poems (Invictus, Dover Beach), but I'm not sure they're all in the right place... I still need a setlist for Moscow (Tom, have you got something?) too. I only added the poems mentioned by Tom, but I know the setlist should be shorter, right?
Thanks,
Maarten

Re: Setlists of the World Tour 2010
This is the setlist for Moscow, as best as I can recall.
I'm quite certain that these were all the songs played - a bit less about the order of a couple of songs.
The show was shortened due to Kremlin Palace's unbending 22:30 "curfew" and a 30+ minutes late start.
01 Dance Me to the End of Love
02 The Future
03 Bird on the Wire
04 Everybody Knows
05 Who By Fire
06 "Invictus" by William Ernest Henely (Poem)
07 The Darkness
08 Last verse of "Dover Beach" by Matthew Arnold (Poem)
09 Born in Chains
10 Chelsea Hotel #2
11 Waiting For The Miracle
12 Anthem
Intermission
13 Tower of Song
14 Suzanne
15 Avalanche
16 Sisters of Mercy
17 The Gypsy's Wife
18 Feels so good
19 The Partisan
20 Hallelujah
21 I'm Your Man
22 Take This Waltz
Encore I
23 So Long Marianne
24 First We Take Manhattan
Encore II
25 Closing Time - preceded by LC's parting thoughts and blessings, which also included a few lines taken and rephrased from drafts of "Closing Time" (http://www.webheights.net/essential/not ... ndepth.htm) and "Never Got To Love You" (from "Blue Alert") by Leonard Cohen and Anjani (http://www.webheights.net/bluealert/songs.html#never). See the fourth part of my concert report at viewtopic.php?f=44&t=23154&start=60#p252713.

Re: Setlists of the World Tour 2010
Hi Maarten,
Just a small point about your meticulous lists: the name of the Warsaw venue 10-10-2010 is TORWAR (missing R ! )
I don't remember hearing The Flood, but I could be wrong....(I find that one kind of forgettable!)

@Dean:
Thank you very much for the setlists and reports, keep them coming. One question: I don't think the band played "Anthem" twice at the same concert, did they?!

Re: Setlists of the World Tour 2010
You're right Ann. Should be Take This Waltz at the end of second set for both Auckland shows. At least there is not a Pool running here like there is for Dylan set lists. This would have caused major stress for some if there was a Pool competition.TipperaryAnn wrote: Thank you very much for the setlists and reports, keep them coming. Hi MasterThief,
Just to keep records straight, it was Maarten, who keeps a close eye on such matters, not I, who pointed out that "Anthem" would not have been played twice !

Re: Setlists of the World Tour 2010
Failte romhat re. Torwar, Maarten ( which means " you're welcome" )
The more I think about it, though, the more convinced I am that "The Flood" did not feature in Warsaw. I'm pretty sure I haven't heard that since Barcelona, which did not distress me greatly! ( Those few lines hardly qualify as an item, anyway. Give me "A thousand Kisses Deep" any day instead. ) Perhaps Heike, or the very few other Forum people present in Warsaw could confirm? You might just check your source for that. I know how accurate you like your lists to be....
