I’ll listen to the darkness sing –
"I know what that’s about."
- That Don't Make It Junk

According to Wikipedia, Testing kits are commercially available for detecting lead. These swabs, when wiped on a surface, turn pink in the presence of lead.
Pink as the shady FORTUNE TELLER FISH !!!!!!! Can this really be coincidence??

Oh my G-d! Now I'm really scared!
And with Leonard's name on that deadly cup even the lyrics of older songs fall into place:
"..father change my name! The one I'm using now is covered up with fear and filth and cowardice and shame!"
Indeed, I wouldn't want my name on that thing. It can really ruin one's reputation. Where's a good spin doctor when you need one?

Hahahahaha!! Ah well, in our home country this is called a negligent cause of injury, which can be punished with up to 5 years of jail.
The phrase "I don't know when we'll meet again" comes to mind...

And the phrase "Don't catch a summer cold" feels just a tiny little bit sarcastic nowPearlvoice wrote:The phrase "I don't know when we'll meet again" comes to mind...

You can drink it you can nurse it-
It don't matter how you worship-
as long as you're down on your knees

Oh the cups of mercy,
will soon make you poisoned or gone.
They were waiting for me
when I longed for a coffee so strong.
And they brought me their toxin
and later I just said "so long".
Oh I hope you don't drink from them,
you who's been jollying along.
Yes you who must leave
every organ you no longer control.
It begins with your kidneys,
but soon comes around to your bones.
Abdominal colic, involving paroxysms of pain
When you're not feeling healthy,
your convulsions say you've shopped like insane.
Well they offered their goods to me
and I sent my order to them.
Now they can't hear my cries
as I bite the dust and condem.
If your wallet is bulging
and you are an innocent fan
they will lure you with love
that is deadly, and their dishes of scam.
Now I'm lying here sleeping
eternal and pumped up with lead
Don't turn on the candles,
you can read my tombstone by the moon.
And you won't make me jealous
if I hear that they now clear those cups for a mite:
here I lie in my shroud
and now will go into the light.
will soon make you poisoned or gone.

Honestly guys, shouldn't they take those cups off the shelves??? Even if the side effects might not be as massive as so eloquently described here, I must repeat that selling such a product might ruin LC'S reputation. In Bird On A Wire it is shown how fans felt cheated because of malfunctioning speakers and Leonard's offer to repay them in a different currency than their own. Will they not feel cheated when they are sold a cup they are advised not to drink from?! Isn't that a ridiculous thing? I mean what do you do with a mug you cannot use but for decoration - especially when it is not exactly art decor? Not to mention buyers might feel LC doesn't care for their health when at the same time his concerts made them believe in his honesty and being a goody two-shoes.
Where are those unhappy customers now? Just disappointed as described before? Nobody angry out there? Or feeling just a little bit dizzy from all the lead?
