Grateful to YOU ALL!

Post by Carmen »

Dear friends,

I have spent the last few hours, since my meeting with Laura earlier today, leafing through the wonderful bag of presents and wonderful treasures that made me feel I was there with you too.
I am glad that so many of you signed the Cohen Art book, and Laura said that it was impossible to reach you all, but I know that all of you were behind me in my efforts to give my mom the best possible care in her days of illness.
Laura's stories will surely continue in the future - she seemed so full of enthusiasm that she made me enjoy every minute of it - and I am sure that there will be lots more to tell.
I would like to thank the organizers, our Polish friends (whom I am sure I shall meet one day in the future) for what seems to have been a wonderful series of events, and for sending me the Event bag through Laura. Each item is well appreciated - and the last few hours saw me read from the Event booklet and learning so many extraordinary things about your great city.
Thank you Tony Palmer for the wonderful signed DVD - and thank you, dear Italian Cohen fans for the tribute CD that I am listening to just now, while writing.
Dear Lizzitish, dear Arlene, Dear Jarkko, dear Cate, Kaz and all of you - sorry for not naming you all - I appreciate your friendship and I remain your true friend.

Hoping to see you all one day - maybe in Hydra next year, I will now try to attach a photo made by Laura on my mobile, while trying the Cohen T-shirt and wearing the pin and participant card as a proud member of a wonderful family :D !

... Well it seems that the photo is too big :( and I have no idea how to reduce it... i'll ask around and then try to send it...

Lots of love from

Carmen

Dear Carmen ~

I'm sorry that I never saw your booklet :( or I certainly would have signed it, as I'd planned :? .

I'm happy for you that so many were able to sign for you :D .

Thank you Carmen for having opend this thread.

Dear friends ,
I am feeling a bit like Carmen (I understand she does it for her mother to whom I send my regards - in my case I do it for myself)
I could not take part at the Event and now Marco (my husband) came back and reported me about the nice event weekend and brought me very nice items and pics from Krakow.
I want to thank to the organizers, Sebastian and the whole team for the organisation and the event bag you gave to Marco also for me. I want to thank to all my good cohenite friends who remembered me and who sent their regards to me through Marco.
I was really deeply touched by the art postcards signatures with your dedications to me,....yes just like Carmen feels with her book.
" Carmen we can be happy to have so good friends :-)"
I continued to watch and read your comments while you all were in Krakow and do it also now , so it is just like having been with you.....and in my mind and heart I was with you
I honestly hope not to have to miss any other event, it was a very hard experience for me :(
Thanks also from Marco to all , especially to the organizers for the memorable days in Krakow and the friendship with the cohenites.
1000 GRAZIE and big hugs from Verona

Dear Andrea,

I hope you are all right now and I am sure that, as it was for me, the stories and photos and memorabilia will make up for the sadness of not being there. The organizers were so nice to send us a wonderful bag of presents - and the videos on YouTube helped me feel as if I had been there too..
Let us hope that the next meeting (possibly Hydra next year) will find us all there enjoying each moment in the presence of our friends and on the background of Leonard's music...

Best wishes of health and happiness from

Carmen
