On the subject of tickets - I went to a large concert on Tuesday of this week - June 16th (tickets purchased in October) and Ticketmaster didn't post them out until Wednesday 10th June so we got them on Thursday 11th. There were updates on our account section of ticketmaster saying what date they would be despatching the various tickets for this gig, and we also had an email from ticketmaster when the tickets were being prepared for printing . Most tickets we buy through ticket master (and we go to quite a number of gigs) are not despatched until 7-10 days before an event. So don't panic if you don't get them for another couple of weeks - but if you are going to be away in the run up to the concert it might be worth contacting ticketmaster with an alternate delivery address.

On the subject of parking - I think someone posted earlier that they had contacted MB world and been told Ticketmaster were selling parking tickets at MB world for this concert as well :-( but there is nothing on either the TM or the MB World site about this. Does anyone have any update on this.

Thanks
Helen

The last few times i booked with ticketmaster the tickets came about a month or more before.

Normally I wouldn't bother but I will be abroad from next week and the concert will be on the way back home - so I'd like the tickets before i go. But maybe I can arrange box office pick-up.

I have 1 spare ticket for Weybridge in Section A4 Row N priced £65 plus ticketmaster service charge £6.50 and any other postal costs.

If you want it Paula, let me know asap. I saw your previous request and sent you an email but maybe it never got to you.

To answer my own and Hydriot's questions about the starting time, I have just phoned MBW and the concert is planned to start at 7.30pm with the doors opening at 4pm.

Hope this helps.

Well done, we have all been scratching our heads about the starting time. On the website car

In passing, I wonder if Mercedes realise MBW is an anagram of BMW, the enemy!

AEG are now marketing the Weybridge gig as "Leonard Cohen's only UK show".

See separate thread: viewtopic.php?f=35&t=15447

Not sure what the implications of this are for the Liverpool and Belfast gigs.

Hopefully the "only UK show" stuff is just an embarrassing error.

I received the same message and followed its link. If you read the complete info on their website, you will find a note in small print that Leonard will also give an indoor concert in Liverpool. All summer tour concerts in Europe will happen. On the other hand, the list we have now is final - no new cities will be added to the European itinerary.

For those asking about parking, Ticketmaster were supposed to start selling parking tickets (£6 each) at 9am last Friday, but it says they're not available:

Parking if paid for on the day is £10. Given how much commission Ticketmaster usually charge, that might work out cheaper than the £6 advance tickets anyway!

On the vexed question of ticket delivery which I was expressing concern about earlier.....

Ticketmaster have agreed to change my order from FedEx delivery to pickup at the venue as I'm travelling back to UK from the USA next week. For anyone else needing to do this can I offer one word of advice: When I tried to do this a couple of weeks ago the guy I spoke to at Ticketmaster was unhelpful and said that the venue didn't want too many people picking up there. This morning I spoke to a delightful lady who changed everything for me immediately. So persevere..... I guess we've all got used to that over the past year though!

Now all we need to do is pray for the sun to shine.

I hope you have as much success with that as you did with the delivery of your ticket!

I have just had an email from Ticketmaster saying Weybridge tickets will not arrive at the buyer's home until the week of the gig.

I just posted this in another thread, but the message needs to be spread....

Hello suzanne2 - I just sent you an email about my experience, but I know that the mighty TM offices will be closed right now. For anyone else having the same problem - just persevere past all the "Take That" rubbish and press any old number they offer. Eventually you will be asked if you want to speak to an agent. It may take some time, but you can do it. The number I rang was 0870 242 4442. Hope this helps.

And the FedEx delivery charge was refunded also.
