Cohen Addicts (or Cake Addicts) would still be CA. Both could be applied to me, although I'm in Australia, where CA means "Chartered Accountant" (which I'm not).

Cohen Addict I am, definitely. Cake, I can live without. And yes, the C.A. designation is used throughout the Commonwealth of Nations. Did you know C.A. also stands for "Can't Add" ? John Cleese, who is a C.A., published a book, it is told, titled "Why Accounting Is Not Boring". The pages are all blank.
Probably more info than you want to know. But I am a C.A., so I can't help myself.

How about "individuals" (who appreciate Leonard Cohen)?! Failing that, I'm resigned to accepting the word "fan" but don't use it.

Thanks for your posting that Monty Python clip. I forgot about it. It is priceless. And it is an Indirect connection to my John Cleese reference earlier. Hey, we "individuals" seem to be on the same ONE track.

As for one definition of a fan, see the outstanding review by winnipeg.ian in the Concert Report from Winnipeg.
...riding a Greyhound 30 hours to Toronto to see him for the first time last year..
That is a very long and not very pretty ride.

I dont think Cohenites, Cohenheads, Fans, admireres or groupies can get even close to what most of us who love Leonard Cohen, his lyrics and his song, feels.
It is a lifestyle to love Leonard Cohen, you become a different person when you know his music and words and especially if you have seen him live, as many of have.
We are indeed lucky to have lived the same time as Leonard Cohen-

Oh relax Friends. What is up with the superior "this forum is only for serious regulars" attitude????
Everybody who reads ALL posts daily (and once in a while writes a post, is a "regular" Cohen lover (or whatever they want to be called), but a "Fruitcake" is insulting and not very "Cohen-like".
Sincerely
Sanneka

Laughter is the best medicine. Hopefully, us fruitcakes will live a long and healthy life. You, yourself Ken, provided me with much laughter in your 'Dylan's new album has an accordion (YEAH) on every track' topic. Thank you for helping this fruitcake live a little longer :D !

Kindest regards,
Mary

Edit - After all, you gave me Shakespeare with an accordion, Ken! Still  !

My compliments to liverpoolken for the LC Fruitckake 2012 event image, Count me in. I had such a good laugh, great comic relief from all the tears of emotion from this wonderful Forum.

I still vote for CA. I am five times lucky.
1. CAncer survivor (so far)
2. Cohen Addict
3. Chartered Accountant
4. CAnadian
5. CAlifornia is where I live now.
