Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
Hi all,
Delighted to get a ticket for Sunday 19th and don't want to appear ungracious but can anyone advise if the seat is any good. Was on the site at 9am - Block A - row 19 - seat 6. Despite many attempts this is the only option Ticketmaster gave me.
From the seating chart I can see it is at the extreme left-hand side of the stage. Has anyone been to the O2? If I have paid 131.50 (incl booking fees) for restricted viewing of any description I will be extremely upset.
Many thanks. Aloevera

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
are you not getting to go this time? I do remember in the 80's when Leonard was in dublin i had just had our 2nd baby and our mortage went up to 15% and there was no chance of me going so i really appreciate being able to go this time.Red Poppy wrote:Confetti,
No - just a sign of the hard times in which some people live.
Enjoy the shows one and all.

Hi Confetti,
It's not about me - just some people I've been talking to.
Will I be going?
Actually, I don't know.
It clashes with the Joe Dolan memorial day in Snagger's field outside Mullingar.
Oh the lost opportunity of Joe and Len duetting on "Good Looking Woman."
But that's ok, too.
Enjoy it!

Don't know quite where to post this so I'm posting it here. A nice (though some beg to differ!) article in todays Sunday Independent looking forward to the return of Leonard Cohen to Ireland.

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
Thanks for postintg the link Burning Violin, this reminds me why I avoid the Sunday Independent and Barry Egan's work there:
"And the likes of former Taoiseach Bertie Ahern, politician Dermot Ahern, tycoon Dermot Desmond, Senator Maria Corrigan, U2 manager Paul McGuinness and actor Alan Rickman were there to absorb the messianic wisdom of the little Jew. "
Drivel and arse-licking bullshit (what a horrible thought).

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
It's a hard one to call, Red Poppy - Joe Dolan, and Leonard, not sure if I could make that decision, but I guess Mullingar would sway it for me.Red Poppy wrote:Hi Confetti,

Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
belfast still not sold out . suprising to me that.
Re: Pre-sales to Dublin and Belfast
mmm yes i was a bit disppointed with the belfast uptake, thought it would sell out in minutes, however Belfast concerts normally sell a little slower than Dublin, don't quite know why.fisherinbelfast wrote:belfast still not sold out . suprising to me that.
