Perhaps we Irish woman are so liberated we never felt the need to settle for the first man who em.. offered himself to us.. Is it our fault they couln't take rejection ?? I am glad they felt the need to write about it.
Many song were written about Irish woman for other reasons, Grace has broke My heart so many times.

I was having a drink with daveyliver in Liverpool last night and we decided that Dave will fulfil the role of ambassador for the European Capital of Culture in Dublin next weekend.
So please make him welcome and remember that he is representing the European Capital of Culture, so plenty of respect.

Dublin will have to wait until October before my next visit when I'm hopefully coming over for Brian Friel's new version of Hedda Gabler at the Gate.

Margaret

A friend was at the press reception at the Halcyon Gallery today for Bob Dylan's Drawn Blank Series. He says the exhibition is superb. There was a BBC film crew there covering the event and they told him that, unless there was something eventful to take up all the time slots this evening, the exhibition would feature in tonight’s 10 O/clock news. I thought you’d like to know.

Allan and Eileen don't ask Dubliners for directions they are notorious for sending you the wrong way. If you find yourself lost in Dublin try to ask a scouser if there is one around.

When you come out of departures you will see directly across on the other side of the road the big white Aircoach coaches, well forget them. What you want is the Airlink double decker bus 747 which departs from directly from outside departures.
The Airlink 747 bus will take to you the main bus station (Busaras as they say in Dublinese)

http://www.dublinbus.ie/your_journey/vi ... ?route=747

The central bus station is the end of the line so there is no need to ask the driver for your stop. The Isaacs hotel is directly opposite the bus station. If memory serves me well I think the Airlink drivers like the correct change so have some loose coins with you.

Btw you are in a good position at the Isaacs for getting to the gig. You are only a 1 minute walk from Connolly station and from outside the station you can jump the 90 bus to Hueston station which is only about a 10 minute walk away from the gig

hey sean... how come you can figure out exactly where seats are. I been trying to work out where my seat is but I just know the block, row number and seat number. For example, where the hell is seat 110 on block A5 row M ??? Is there some sort of weird transcendental code   I knew that damm philosophy degree was useless... I should have taken math or physics :)

Philosophy was a fine choice, especially if they taught you something about phenomenology.

Your seat is EXCELLENT.... lucky Irishman!

it is the circle in front of the stage
