Famous Blue Raincoat is my absolute favourite, I would be thrilled to hear that song
on stage ! My other choices would be "Dance me to the end of love" and "The letters"

So long Marianne would not be appropriate as it's the name of my very beloved wife and
I would not dreaming of leaving her :D

But what the heck, let Leonard and his wonderful crew surprise me at the 12th of July ;)
true love leaves no traces

Hmm... I'm going to have to say:

Sing Another Song Boys
Dress Rehearsal Rag
Field Commander Cohen

A weird, and unlikely, mix... but heck, I'd be happy to hear anything. Hope I can score tickets for one of the Halifax shows.

Gosh--only 3??!! Impossible!!*S* I also like the idea of dividing up...old and new...
so here goes *S*!!

I hope to hear the following songs at the concert:

OLDER:

1. If It Be Your Will
2. Joan of Arc
3. Suzanne (I could listen to this song a
hundred plus times in a row... *S)!

NEWER:

1. Here It Is
2. A Thousand Kisses Deep
3. On That Day

Enjoy!!

There are probably songs he can't sing anymore because his voice has changed, and some of is stuff would sound strange during a concert. But some songs would make for a great concert. He might do covers depending on the city he plays in. My choices are similar to others:

Famous Blue Raincoat
Dance me to the end of love
Take this Walz (would make a great duo, there's a good video on youtube of him singing this song in Germany. The woman's voice is amazing!)

Also...
Heart with no companion (would make a great last song)
Tonight will be fine
If it be your will
Everybody knows (first song I heard from him on the Pump up the volume soudtrack)

Please, not to much new stuff!

anything from dear heather or ten new songs as I have never heard any of them performed live! What I am really looking forward to is hearing any of the new songs from his yet to be released new album.

(I have never been ale to pick a favourite three. But I would love to hear 'Death of a ladies man.' regardless of the negative reviews of the album, that particular song is one of my favourites.

To choose three from my favourites?

Beginning:
Bird on a Wire
If it be your Will
Tonight Will Be Fine

then:
Famous Blue Raincoat
Night Comes On
Anthem

Ending:
Love Itself
Hey, That's No Way
The Faith.

I'd choose:
Bird on a Wire
Anthem
The Faith.
"You let me sing, you lifted me up, you gave my soul a beam to travel on. ... You gave the injury a tongue to heal itself."
Leonard Cohen in Book of Mercy (1984) Ch. 19.

Hard to choose really, but my top three would probably be:

Chelsea Hotel No#2
In My Secret Life
Closing Time

:) But anything of his is brilliant.
I know it's crooked, but it's the only game in town...
