I was just made aware of this version of Hallelujah. I believe the artist may be Israeli and this is done in either Ladino or Spanish, not sure which as they are both quite similar. Ladino is to Spanish what Yiddish is to German. It's quite lovely and give a new twist to very classic Leonard Cohen.

This link is a bit better. It doesn't cut off suddenly at the end like the first one does:
"Well, that's my story
I admit it's broken and it's bleak
But all the twisted pieces fit
A 1000 kisses deep."

This thread includes a link to an interview with Yasmin which you may find interesting. We discovered her music by accident at a festival earlier this year and were totally bowled over by her music and her charm.
