Richard Shindell

Post by birminghamfan »

I don't think I've seen this fine man mentioned on the forum He is from the USA , but lives in Buenos Aires He has always admired Leonard , and sometimes covers Famous Blue Raincoat

https://youtu.be/psVVrFUvQ-k

He has written a homage to FBR , ' Nora '

https://youtu.be/3jgiqQ55p38

and some excellent , literate songs of his own , try ' Fishing ' or 'Tune for Nowhere ' , an all time favourite of mine but sadly no Richard performance on Youtube

Hope my links work !

Hi Steve, haven't come across him before. I know that 'FBR' is a favourite of yours. Enjoyed both of these. Will keep an eye out for him in the future.

Hopefully catch up in Montreal. You too Janet!

Scott
