First off, speedy recovery wishes to Roscoe.

I look at the intimacy of this leg's venues with much admiration.
The Palace's sound seems to be impeccable given the distance from the stage "stilli cling" shot the vids from.
Old world acoustics ftw.

Watching LC stopping 'Closing Time' twice (!) right off the start to get it right was priceless and admirable - I don't know many artists who can pull it off with such grace:
You're so kind, I screwed up the words, I'll have to start again

and then
Forgive me friends, there are some thing that just have to be done right, I know I'm keeping you up on a Saturday night... "and my very sweet companion she's the angel of compassion" - will you remind me when I'm at the line?

and sure enough, getting a roaring full house reminder -- didn't have that good a laugh since the whirling blouses in SJ :-D

Happy Easter Sunday/ 2nd Passover from sunny Tel Aviv,

Leif wrote a great blog post about this concert. Really makes me appreciate having an insider like him telling us about all that is happening.

Thanks Marie,
For Leif's link - most informative! Well done to Mitch! I hope Roscoe has recovered.

It would have been wonderful to have seen and heard Avalanche :D I hope there is a video of it coming!

What an interesting piece, and many thanks to Leif. I'm sure that many in the audience had no idea what an unusual concert they were witnessing. It is definitely nice to have a unique back-stage perspective and report, in contrast to the ususal reports from the other side of things!

Lisa,
Trust me, those of us forum members and others who have either been to other concerts or followed YouTube videos of concerts, we definitely knew we were hearing and seeing something truly special!
I will be posting a report in the next few days.
Warmest regards,
Mary
