Oh my. mnkyface is so right. I've only watched "I Tried To Leave You" 20 or 30 times since these videos turned up on my "Leonard Cohen - YouTube" list yesterday. That segment with Anjani (AKA "The Pearl Of The Pacific" by Leonard's introduction) singing, "Baby, Baby, Baby" makes me - well, Iet's go with "very interested." And who knew, according to Leonard, she had a "mean streak?"

Well, that's all I have time for - I need to watch this video again.

I'm the one who uploaded the videos from Kalvøya, Norway, 1985. Thank you all for the kind responses! I have just discovered that the concert was not in 1984, but in 1985 (which the observant ones can see written on the stage in the video). Since there is a 10 minutes limit to YouTube videos, I could not upload the whole recording of "I Tried to Leave You", and so the last minute of it is missing. Some have asked me to upload the last part as well, and here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bM-wLkzdD5Y. In the near future I will upload many more videos of both Leonard Cohen and Anjani, and others.
