Succes, Johan.

A very kind & savvy friend sent me a link to find the name of the bank through the IBAN #, & according to what I found, you are right, it is ING Belgium. So I was able to do the transfer - whew!! And YAY!! Now I just have to hope that they get it within 5 days, so that my order won't get cancelled (the bank here said they couldn't guarantee it - I don't know why - seems to me that these computer transactions should take much less than 5 days).

I hope I don't have this issue with the Paris & Dublin sites tonight! I mean, what kind of "global economy" is it when different countries don't accept each others' credit cards - a rather dysfunctional global economy, I'd say. . .

Thanks again for your kindnesses in replying to my post.

Jill & David: I'm so glad you will be there, & looking forward to seeing you again too!!
I too am having the same problem. My internet access at home has been down for a couple of days so had to book tickets on my iPhone, very stressful with such a small screen, I managed to order the tickets, now they want me to pay by bank transfer. This didn't happen last time I ordered tickets for Ghent through them, I'm sure I paid by credit card.
Does anyone know, can I just transfer the money through my online banking and how do I overcome the problem of the price being in euros? Any advice greatly appreciated as am very keen to transfer money to secure tickets, can do so at the moment as have internet access at work.

Many, many thanks in advance

If I were you I would go to the bank office and let them make the money transfer. I always do that when I buy something in U.K. on ebay etcetera. They make the change from Pound to Euro (in my case in opposite direction) .But that costs too, unfortunally....Good luck!

Today I received the email from Sherpa.be that the payment is received and the tickets will be sent. So no problems with online banktransfer from Holland to neigbouring Belgium. Good luck everybody who is still in payment process.
And many thanks Jarkko and Maarten for all your work and help to make this presale work. :!:

For those who weren't at the Ghent concerts in 2010, you can see some lovely pictures of the venue, Sint-Pietersplein , taken at that time. Go to:
www.leonardcoheningent.be
Choose a language, and click on "Foto's" on the next page! Beautiful, no?

I don't know how this works for folks in Europe, but, when I need to make a purchase out of the US, I always make sure to call my credit card company in advance to let them know I am going to make a purchase outside of the area of where I live. Otherwise, it sends up 'flags' to the credit card company of a potential fraud situation. Always call your credit card company in advance of making any purchase outside of your locality or that purchase may be blocked by them for your protection.

The site is down on 3 browsers.
I strongly recommend you take a screen shot of the payment page to be able to prove later on you had those tickets in hand - If you're happy with ones you're holding, Sherpa should make it up to you.

Now the ticket I'd bagged has timed out and the Golden Circle is gone. I hate these websites. They never have capacity when it comes to the crunch.

Just a thought but given the day between the two Ghent concerts I suppose it's not impossible that another date will be added on the Monday...
