Hi, this is a question for all of you who have been lucky to know Leonard in person or to be near him for a while.Does he wear any perfume?. I love perfumes, and he's so elegant, and always appears so clean , perfectly shaved and nails perfectly cut I only wanted to know what he smells of. Of courseI know there are lot of men who are really clean and don't like perfumes but a friend of mine is a Jew old man and always wear a wonderful essence, and I would like to know if Leonard does.
Besides, in the extra time of the DVD " Songs from the road " you can see him giving an essence to the whole band before the concert as a sign of unity, and I have always wandered how that essence would smell like.
Thank you all

Leonard's perfume

If he does, he'd better not let on. Otherwise, the new world of corporate Cohen consumerism will no doubt be adding "L.C. perfume for men" to its V.I.P. packages!

I know nothing about the fragrance Leonard Cohen himself wears but I do know that he once told a friend ...

Ans, it turns out that Leonard Cohen isn’t the only singer-songwriter-icon to express an interest in manufacturing a fragrance reeking of – well, let’s call it ambiguity. One can review Bob Dylanl's idea for a cologne at The Leonard Cohen-Bob Dylan Thematic Nexus: Lost In The Rages Of Fragrance:

Since nothing had come of the project, I posted a marketing concept at Leonard Cohen & The Sweet Smell Of Indifference:he was going to come out with his own cologne. It was going to be called “Indifference,” and its slogan was going to be “I don’t give a shit what happens”
