Dear friends,
Oh what oh what oh what a show it was!
Thanks, sturgess66. You're fast!
I've just posted a close-up video of LC performing "A Singer Must Die". Not quite albertnoonan quality, but decent enough:

"Sir, I didn't see nothing, I was just getting
home late"
"And save me a place in a
twelve-dollar grave" - LC must have taken into account the strength of the Australian dollar
There are so many admirable reviews of both concerts, so I'll just contribute a few pictures to further colour this thread...
An impressive line-up at the Acer Arena, to be sure. But I'd swap all the shows for the one on the second row
I just had to take a photo of the banner.
In eager anticipation... actually, Neil Larsen appeared for awhile to make some adjustments to the keyboard and Hammond. Didn't snap that, though.
LC gave it his all, as usual. But I was particularly taken with the performance of "Born In Chains". I thought the solos by the Sharon Robinson and the Webb Sisters had never contrasted so beautifully with LC's trademark gravelly voice. Anyone with me on this?
Lester
P.S. Read about how Hattie Webb paralysed me here:
