Deutsche Bank Invites Leonard Cohen - an additional concert in Warsaw
Interest in the concert Deutsche Bank Invites Leonard Cohen announced on October 4 in Katowice surpassed all expectations. Therefore, already on 10 October 2010, fans of this outstanding work of Canadian artist will have the opportunity to hear his greatest hits during the extra performance, which will be held in Warsaw in the cycle TorwarDeutsche Bank Invites.
In more than three-hour concert , Deutsche Bank Invites Leonard Cohen in Katowice and Warsaw, the artist performs his greatest hits, including: Hallelujah, Dance Me To The End Of Love, Suzanne and I'm Your Man. He will be accompanied by a nine-strong team of musicians from different countries (including Spanish virtuoso of exotic stringed instruments, Javier Mas). Trio by Sharon Robinson, in collaboration with Cohen for many years - that's compositions for his poems by the popular album, Ten New Songs (including hit single In My Secret Life), 2001.
In Poland, Leonard Cohen will appear in concerts until after the fourth time in its over 40-year career. In our country, it was particularly popular in the 80's, mainly thanks to Maciej Zembatego creativity that perfectly translated into Polish, and then performed songs from this artist.
In Cohen's achievements is close to 20 albums and countless singles. In 2003, received at the hands of the Governor General of Canada Order of Canada Canadian highest honor, awarded him for his outstanding contribution to the development of Canadian culture.
