To me Ten New Songs is lots of nice melodies, warm sounds and it leaves me happy after listening to it. I know that the lyrics are great, but I've just begun to understand them so I'm not gonna comment on them otherwise. I don't really have a favourite song. All the songs have their virtues and the album is a really even entity. It's amongst the better half of LC's albums, in my opinion.

When this album first came out,I admit that I just didnt like it or get it at all.Coming back to it years later I cant get enough of it,now I think its one of his best.
