Minneapolis Tribute Concert by Mean Larry

Canadian born, singer-songwriter, novelist, poet, ladies man Leonard
Cohen is turning 75. Celebrate Leonard's birthday with Mean Larry &
Friends. Mean Larry has been performing Cohen tributes since 1994;
what started out as a solo project at the Bad Habit Cafe in downtown Saint Paul grew
into the Chelsea Hotel and performances on the First Avenue mainstage.
In 2001 Mean Larry held the International Leonard Cohen Fest and
former Cohen back-up singer Perla Batalla performed as well. In 2008
Mean Larry traveled to Seattle to put on the first First We Take
Seattle tribute show. This year's show is Monday, September 21st at
the 7th Street Entry. Downtown Minneapolis. Doors at 6pm. Showtime
