Thanks again Juan Luis. Another wonderful performance by Sharon Robinson in Boogie Street. :D :D

Terrific performance of "Take This Waltz." The delightful back and forth between Javier and Leonard around 3:02 ends in a nice little laugh from Leonard.  "I'll Dance With You In Vienna" - verse with Hattie is lovely. The band and musician introductions move along quicker than usual - and Leonard leaves a big smile on my face with that exit from the stage - his right hand up in the air flourishing to the beat of the waltz.

We was there, at the 12th of Sept. 2009 in Madrid. And it was just great! Absolutely outstanding! We was in Lissabon at the 30th of July 09 and in Zürich 25th Oct. 2008. As the Tour goes on, as better the Apperiances will be! As everyone knows, the settinglist changed. Lover Lover Lover finally find his way into the Standard - Setting and I have seen for the first Time the Chelsea Hotel No2 in a different arrangement. Until then, LC played this only with the Guitar. Two Days ago, he did Chelsea Hotel with the whole Band. And it was great, really! The show started on Time. Mr. Cohen seems a little bit sad at the beginning (sad maybe isn't the exact right word, but i find no other until now). It was sure a different feeling than in Lissabon. More focused. But in a good way. The arrengement of Lover was outstanding. The crowd gave him a big hand! And he desearved it. During "The Partisan", the same thing happened hear as in Lissabon, i will say, in nearly every City he Performes: the crowd stands up and everybody sing the song. And i mean everybody. And this is amazing. This song means something special for the People i think, especially for the European People; and that's exactely as it should be! As longer the Tour goes, as better everone on the stage makes his Job. And it really seems, that they enjoy, what they do. And that's all you can ask for. I really hope, that with the Concert in San Jose at the End of November this year, the final Leg is not reached then. Even when all the official people say, that this will be the End of this long Tour. As nearly everything, this has two sides: from the view of the Artists, i sure understand: enough is enough. And beeing away for almost 2 years, this is really a long Time. From the view of the Fans of Mr. Cohen, the Webb Sisters, Sharon, Javier, Dino, Roscoe, Bob (i meet Mr. Metzger before the Concert in the front row by accident; he was talking to the female, german Fan from Munich; she was attending her 19 LC-Concert this night / Mr. Metzger told her, beceause they had 6 days off before the show in Madrid, this show is something like a reunion: Female fan from Munich: if you read this, answer me, ok!) and all the others: we can't get enough of the Concerts. Beceause a Cohen - Concert is something different. Everyone who was in a Cohen - Audience, can tell this for sure. You can feel it; you almost can touch it. I personally would like to hear, that the Tour will goes on another Year. But everything has come to an end. But maybe the end of the Tour is not at the end of Nov. 2009? And if it is the End of the Tour: we all love to buy the "Live - Best - Of". Every Song, that Mr. Cohen sings on this long Tour, desearves to be published. Beceause everyone of them sounded just great. And different as they were in the early 90. Even different on the London - DVD (CD) from 2008. Hope, this come true.

I wish our Man all the Best from the bottom of my Heart. He desearve it, beceaus he give us so much!! Susanne
