I'm sill up for all the events, and certainly the lunch, so if there's room you can count me in.

Hi, I confirm myself (28) and my husband (102) for lunch. For everything else, just me. See you all here in BCN!

Luisa: I have added you to the lunch list! (not yet updated above...). Had to comment on this: It's the first time I saw mr. Leonard Cohen blinking to me!!! I never noticed this before... It's SO cool!!! ;-) ***Maarten***

Jorcx & Toni,
the tribute concert on Sunday evening is announced to start at 10.30 pm. Is it possible to open the doors much earlier? This is also going to be a very remarkable meetup of our members, and I am sure they want to spend time also to talk to each other and get to know new friends. This request has been discussed extensively here in Venice.

Hello Jarkko and all the Venecians,
I understand your request but I am afraid the venue of the tribute-concert will open for us just at 22.30PM or a few minutes earlier because they have another act taking place there before. The tribute-concert will finish about midnight but, even though it may be too late at night for some people, we can remain there as long as we feel like... Another possibility if Cohenites gather before the tribute-concert is to find a bar nearby which could be nice for a pre-meetup, we'll look for it (in fact, there is one just on the corner but we may find some other more comfortable, I have some idea). Also, take into account that on Monday we have plenty of time and the idea is to spend almost all day together from lunch to the Leonard concert on the evening...
Best wishes and looking forward to September!!
Jordi

We will have a lot of time for the very remarkable meetup. Specially during the Monday evening between the lunch and the concert. Soon we will announce the restaurant.

The one who comes a long before 10:30 pm, we recommend to see Montjuïc's Fountains, It's close Sala Vivaldi, between the Venetian towers (it will be familiar for some of you) in the way to climb to the Palau Sant Jordi.

The histrionics and tremendous "Barcelona" of Montserrat Caballé and Freddy Mercuri is inevitable.
The fruit of the inspiration of the engineer Carles Buigas, who conceived a new type of fountain where the artistic element consists in the changing shapes of the water, the Magic Fountain was one of the last works constructed in the grounds of the Universal Exhibition of 1929. The project was completed with cascades and smaller fountains installed at various points of Avinguda Maria Cristina.
This is one of the city's oldest traditions: a water, music and light spectacular.
Times: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 9-11.15pm.
The colour and music spectacular takes place at 9.30, 10.00, 10.30 and 11.00pm.
In the city we can also enjoy a set of ornamental and public fountains, which add charm to the streets and squares in which they are located. http://www.bcn.es
