I'm afraid that the point - they leave things to the last minute which inconveniences - to say the least - anyone who is travelling just before or may not be in the address they were forced to give (unlike many ticketmaster only accept delivery to the address on the credit card not a substitute)! In the end, you can write to them and they have duplicate tickets at the box office but the web system won't let you even ask this until about 72 hours before! Why not follow European examples and send tickets out as soon as they are ordered or, at least, available?

I agree completely Paul. One of my main tasks tomorrow is to chase a couple of Van Morrison tickets for the following Saturday. As of Thursday, they said they hadn't received the tickets from the promoters but then they asked me to follow up 7 days before the show. Pointless because if they didn't have the tickets on Thursday, there's virtually zero chance of me receiving them by tomorrow! We may yet get to the 72 hours notice for tickets at the Box Office the way our mail is. It's all aggro and inconvenience whichever way you look at it.

Liverpool Arena's policy is to despatch tickets 14 days prior to the concert.

OK, they're not the best seats of all time but as you know it's pretty late on and the show has been well sold for a long time.

Concert is two weeks away and still no tickets. Ticketmaster are really having a laugh. Have had my tickets for Belfast for ages. Never seen them so slow.

Still not rcvd our tickets, Ticketmaster are claiming they have not rcvd their tickets from the promoter .

Has anybody rcvd theirs from Ticketmaster ?

I know the Arena have started to send theirs out.

The Weybridge tickets appear to be arriving today according to that board so hopefully the Liverpool ones should arrive in the next 2/3 days.

Hopefully, but the web site still says tickets haven't been dispatched yet. I don't buy the idea of not getting their allocation. If Belfast could have then sent out within 3 weeks of ordering them why not Liverpool. End of the day its only paper with letters printed on it!!grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!

Here in North America, both Ticketmaster and Telecharge gave us the option to print our own general sale tickets (the printed ticket has a barcode and the venues have barcode readers to authenticate the tickets). The only exception to that was that the fan club pre-sale tickets had to be held as "will call". From this discussion I assume that you don't have "print your own" tickets in Europe?

They did for Dublin, I can't remember if they did for Belfast (they were sent quicly anyway) but I don't think they gave that option for Liverpool. Printing your own is a great idea.

I don't think printing your own is such a good idea in England can you imagine the field day touts and others would have selling the same ticket over and over again. No I would rather have the proper ticket.

It has got to be a proper ticket or none, can you imagine getting to your seat only to find that someone else has an original ticket and yours is a fake!!! bought off a tout.
