The idea of inviting Urszula to the Event came up sometime in January. She responded enthusiastically to our invitation to both concerts of the Krakow Event (The Friday and the Saturday one). We didn't know at the time she'd be nine months pregnant by August ; )
We were kind of worried it would be too great a strain for her, and tried to suggest she should maybe give up the idea... She said it would be no problem, she could sing in August all right, and joked that if the baby decided to come to this world during the concert, she'd name him Leonard.
As you can see from the videos, she did wonderfully.
The little boy is due to be born next week, but I've been told he already sends his greetings to all of you, guys!

Wonderful videos, both Ursula and Ann are fantastic!
And it was great that Ursula could bring the promise of a new life into the Temple, on such a wonderful occasion...

And the very successful debut ,you can believe it or not,but it`s true that Weronika Woszek practically hadn`t had
any stage experience. She decided to replace a singer who couldn`t perform in the last moment.
Weronika Woszek sung two songs:
There Is a War.

and The Window.

And the last but not least artist I managed to record - Maciej Zembaty , his merits in popularization of Cohen`s body of work
in Poland are enormous.Maciej Zembaty and Ela Dębska to the accompaniment of Sebastian Wojnowski (bass)
and Tadeusz Klimonda (accordion) sung ten songs at Manggha Museum.
Here`s link to one of them:
Dance Me To The End Of Love.

The rest you will find on my You Tube Channel /radkaz55/ if you`re interested.

Thank you, Arlene. I'm only now back home (sigh; I wish it lasted longer) and back to a computer, and I could see your video. I agree, Sue has such a beautiful voice. And it was nice meeting you too again in Berlin, even if briefly.
