there's a 6.00 euro postage charge, so look to see if you've been charged that in your confirmation email

Did anyone else buy from the GDP site? After 4 goes on the Olympia site, during the course of which saw the seats allocated to me go from 3rd row down to 15th row whilst it kept on saying my "bank" had rejected my credit cards (all 3 of them ...) I went back to GDP, which allocated me first row (yes, row 1!!) for the Tuesday and row 4 for Wednesday. Again, it took a couple of goes to make the purchase but at least they didn't cancel the whole order, as the Olympia billeterie did each time I tried, and I now have a receipt and an instruction to collect my tickets one hour before the show.

I have absolutely no idea who GDP are but I am a trusting soul and can only hope that my money and tickets are safe ...

I've bought Tom Waits tickets from GDP, they are reliable. Tickets are sent by registered mail if you live in France, I don't know about foreign countries.

And Olympia is a great hall. I first saw LC there in the summer of......1976!!!

I just checked my emails and OMG she's gone and done it. I forgot to mention that I don't like indoor venues. Is it OK with everyone if we keep the windows open?

Yes, and the tickets in the cheapest category seem to go quickly.

Somehow Paris in November just seems like the perfect setting . . . I have never seen Mr. Cohen perform, sort of a latecomer to discover him, but when i did, it was a beautiful thing at just the right time. I dreamed of being able to see him perform. So news of this tour was really exciting. Been following it and was too impatient to wait to see if he is coming to the United States, so I'm going to Paris!!!

I was able to buy tickets on the gdf site to the November 25 show at the Olympia, row 13, center . . . also hope to catch him in the U.S. if he decides to visit here.

For those of you who booked directly from the Olympia website, did you get a confirmation email and has your card been charged? We have a print out of the booking confimation that came up after online booking, but no email or card charge yet (booked last Wednesday). Have been trying to get through on the phone since Friday but can't, and there is no email address that I can find on the site.

Would appreciate info from anyone who booked through the Olympia, including an email address if there is one that can be replied to included with any email conformations received by people.

Am worried that the purchase hasn't been completed properly and I will lose my seats

Hi Leax

I booked tickets through Olympia. I recveived confirmation by email - here's the email address it came from: olympia@rodrigue.fr

If the worst comes to the worst and your booking hasn't gone through, fear not there are still plenty of good tickets available on GDP (http://www.gdp.fr). They seem to have much more available, and better seats, than Olympia who are showing very little in the way of remaining seats. I guess their booking systems can't talk to each other so Olympia allocated specific seats to GDP to sell, which haven't sold as fast (perhaps because the GDP site doesn't offer English text)?

If you need a hand with translations give me a shout by PM.

Best of luck to you!

Thanks for that Shaunagh,
my husband has been trying to get through on the phone but just realised that today is a holiday in France so that mightn't be helping :) He isn't 100% sure what the 4 options he is hearing are but thinks he is picking the correct one. I was looking at the GDP site and the best available seats are rows 11 to 13 of the Orchestra section, and the one I booked are about 11 rows not far in in the front left section and I was so thrilled to get them. Hopefully it will be ok but I have a bad feeling.
