I took it to mean the full 2008-13 adventure but I guess we will find out soon enough.

Seems to me that the title has a certain sense of finality to it .....

Good thought, Roman. I'm thinking that is what it will be. Soundchecks! :D 8)

(If that is the case - there could possibly be songs that were never performed on the tour ... )

But it's not an actual studio album is it?

Btw, not the first time that his name is connected with this definition of Grand Tour:
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=29022&hilit

So, the Grand Tour may refer not only to his recent "adventure"? We'll see :-)

Misinformation i suppose , though if true  I like the ticket price of 13 euros!

Meanwhile I loved a uk tv series from about 10 years ago in which ' controversial' uk art critic ' Brian Sewell' retraced the typical 17th/18th century 'grand tours'.
I find very funny as well as informative and it's on you tube

meglos2000: no dvd, this is an audio release.
jerry: this will not be a studio album
rike: very misleading advertising indeed. This Lübeck night is just another local tribute concert or some kind of a performance based on Leonard's songs.

And look what has happened since then! Maybe it will happen again. Can't forget & can't give up hope - not yet. . .

While any new album is good news and the cover art is amusing, it is hard to imagine what yet another live album of the 2008-13 tour is going to add to Live in London, Songs from the Road, Live in Dublin and the thousands of high-quality fan videos. But I will hope that the surprises that Jarkko alludes to are indeed surprising.

I'd agree with you there (even 20 years ago for that matter) but a lot of more recent fans don't know what it was like in the 'wilderness' years and talk of a new album of any sort automatically seems to lead to speculation about a new tour in some quarters. Personally I expect to be living on memories and live recordings where concerts are concerned but I would dearly love to be proved wrong.

If it is live I hope this is something very different than a typical live album. I hope there is no overlapping with the other LC live albums.
