WEBB SISTERS / LEONARD COHEN

English duo The Webb Sisters really ARE sisters with a substantial body of beautiful musical works behind them.
Since 2008, however, they've also had the quite remarkable job of touring the world with Leonard Cohen and return to Australia in November 2013 for another series of shows.
ABC Newcastle's Carol Duncan spoke with Charley Webb about life on the road with Leonard Cohen, as well as the sisters' work with , Sting, Jamie Cullum, Rufus Wainwright, Gotye and many others.
You can listen to Carol's full interview here.

I enjoyed the interview (and that other one with both sisters, and the one with Sharon) very much. I also think it's great that, in a sense, Leonard can outsource the onerousness of interviews to publicize the shows (as if they needed it!) to members of his ensemble who still have something to gain from the public exposure, as he really does not. And they don't seem to mind it.
