J.S. Carenza III on managing photos, attention and touring bands
December 11, 2012 at 2:00pm • 1 hour 6 minutes
Joey Carenza is the road manager for Leonard Cohen’s current tour. He joins me on an off night to talk about photography, job networking and, of course, a bit about Mr. Cohen.

"joins me," as in joins you, Roman?

Nope. It appears to be Brett Terpstra. Listening now.

Edit: I'm not even 10 minutes into it, yet; and you are so right ~ a MUST listen!!

Of course, the beginning that relates to Joey's joining up with Leonard and the anecdotes regarding Leonard were of greater interest to me than all the technical discussions that followed. If I were into the techno world of cameras and computers, however, I'd have been taking notes! It was super to hear Joey engaging in areas of obviously great interest to him, and for many years. He comes across as very natural and very nice... neither of which surprize me at all. Thanks for bringing this here, Roman. I listened to it all. Just finished.

I enjoyed this and while of course I loved hearing about him working with Leonard it was good to hear him speak of his own interests too.

Joey is a long term and prolific user of flickr where he's always been very generous with his images and time.
