Aw, three-year-old's should be singing "This Little Light of Mine" or some silly animal song, not Leonard Cohen songs. They need letters, shiny things, chocolates, and mailboxes stuffed with all sorts of things...at least until they hit puberty!
(But I did notice this little guy sang the song in a very happy way; thank heaven.)

Oh, I think children naturally gravitate to whatever lyrics resonate with them at whatever time. Perhaps this tyke is struggling with the concept of "no more Oreos for you" which I'm sure we all agree, is one of the most difficult hurdles of toddlerhood. I further theorize that the passion in Cohen's voice from that early album may communicate to this kid that he is not alone with his "no more Oreos for you" frustrations.
