The release date has not been confirmed yet, but sometime in the fall, and definitely before Xmas.

All versions will be released at (about) the same time, mid-September. Local Sony dealers may adjust the date locally, but the online shops like Amazon will have it immediately.

For low-techies like me, Play.com in the UK have the DVD/CD package available for pre-order for £8.95, with free P&P. Release date is given as 13 September.

Hi all!

Amazon.com now has a preview clip of the DVD! It shows the full performance of Lover Lover Lover.

See it here on the right side of the page: http://www.amazon.com/Leonard-Cohen/e/B ... _sa_videos
Or click on videos on this page: http://www.amazon.com/Songs-Road-DVD-Le ... 052&sr=8-1

THE PARTISAN - We traveled from Seattle to Chicago to see Leonard Cohen and his incredible group. I have only heard a piece of the version of The Partisan that is on the new album, but I have to say that the way the song was handled in Chicago was incredible and in my opinion, much better... it was haunting... far more haunting than the Helsinki version. It was only played by LC, Roscoe Beck, and the Webb Sisters. It made my heart stop and I have been praying that the Chicago recording would be available. What are the chances of seeing that happen? Does anybody know?
