Took me awhile but I worked my way to Leonard! :D :D I must be losing it...knew about 75% of the "lyricists" but wow...do the powers that be really consider some of that crap worthwhile?

Thank your Bridger15 (Arlene) Today, May 5 is my birthday and I loved the video of all of the fans. It was great to see photos of you all. Maybe one day I can join you at the festivities. :D

I just tried to vote and got this message "The NME.COM Voting system is currently unavailable as it was so popular that it was hammering our servers! It'll be back soon!".

They obviously didn't plan on a mass onslaught by the LC forum!

Mollydog,

I had voted about half an hour prior to that and got through OK but I had to skip through about 50 other entrants to get to Leonard. They must have hidden him really well  Maybe I caused it because once I found him I tried to vote quite a few times and may have confused the system

This might make it easier to vote for Leonard -

Well, went through that twice to vote a perfect 10.

A couple of thoughts:

Grace Jones is on that list? Seriously?? I guess there's something for everyone...

Dylan's ahead of Joni -- uh ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!

I also wanted to vote, but the answer was: connection problem. I do not know why. :(

Well a best lyricist poll with My chemical romance and Killers having ~8 and Dylan and Cohen having ~7 and ~6 respectively looks more like a joke to me

No offense, I recognize that all about music is a matter of subjectivity but on the other hand I feel like some things are somehow non-negotiable :!:
Strangers passing in the street,
by chance to seperate glances meet,
and I am you and what I see is me.

Just voted again! You know there must be an easier way to vote, some people come up two or three times repeating themselves before you get to Leonard, you're lucky if he comes up at all!
