PARADE-Seven Notable "Hallelujah" Performances

Post by bridger15 » Tue Mar 23, 2010 7:51 pm

This past week, PARADE featured seven notable "Hallelujah" performances. There are video links for each one.

I had never heard the BONO cover before. It is quite interesting.

1. k.d. lang (Winter Olympics 2010)
2. Justin Timberlake (Hope for Haiti)
3. Leonard Cohen (Live From London)
4. Jason Castro (American Idol)
5. BONO (SOLO)
6. Jeff Buckley
7. Allison Crowe

And a giggle for me this morning from my Twitter sidebar

Thanks for this video link. I love k.d.lang.

The Bono cover is on the Tribute CD - Tower of Song 1995.

Thanks for the info. I don't own any CD's of LC covers. I tend to overdose on listening to pure Leonard Cohen, himself. I do own Lian Lunson's documentary film, I'm Your Man, which includes many covers. But, my favorite bits are the LC interview segments.
