Happy New Year - shana tova

Post by jenrbr » Thu Sep 17, 2009 6:18 pm

The Jewish new year (5770) commences this Friday night.

Since joining this forum I've been nothing less than impressed with the generosity, respect and sheer volume of inspiring thoughts coming from all of you here.

I take this opportunity to wish all of you and Leonard Cohen, your friends and family a sweet, successful and inspirational new year!

May the poetry and music continue for many long years to come!

Shana Tova, k'tiva v'chatima tova.
all the best - kol tov

At this time of the year, I am sending out a short video to my family and friends, and that includes you, the many wonderful people I have met on this Forum. Thank you Jarkko, for bringing us all together, your tolerance and your patience and making it all work.

bridger15,
An absolutely stunning and beautiful video for Rosh hashana.

Yes, so true what you say about the gifted and benevolent people here.

What a world it could be if such beauty, generosity, tolerance and understanding prevailed.

Bertold Brecht said: Art is not a mirror held up to reality, but a hammer with which to shape it."

Leonard Cohen, jarkko, lizzytish, maryB are only but a few of the angels who reside here.
To all of you who keep this forum a haven of respect, knowldege and understanding, a blessed new year.
May peace and love reign on us all.
shana tova (a happy and good year to you)
ti'zku l'shanim rabot (may you merit and enjoy many more years to come)
