Leonard Cohen Live in London on TV this week!!!

Just checking my on-screen cable guide for tomorrow night here in Detroit.

We get CBC TV out of Canada too, which is channel 9 on the dial. The guide says LC Live in London will air tomorrow night from 8-9pm!

Obviously it will be an edited down version of the DVD for hour long TV.

At first I was shocked but this isn't uncommon. VH-1 Classic aired David Gilmour Live in Gdnask the same week it was released, and they, along with PBS have aired the "Dark Side of the Moon" segment from Pink Floyd's Pluse DVD countless time.

I should note for those in the various time zones that by "tonight" I mean Wed. April 1 at 8pm Eastern Standard Time in North America for those that get the channel and don't want any confusion.

More like 40 minutes. They stopped for advertising after almost every song, which really broke up the flow.

It was still enjoyable, but CBC could have done it so much better.
