Cohen concert in Rome
Re: Cohen concert in Rome
Well Filpaz,
Leonard 's tour is a very succesfull one.
He keeps adding dates to summer and fall tour, despite the fact
that the organizers really go for the upmarket ticket-prices.
You in Rome are lucky, it's a bargain.
Take Paris: minimum 125 euro. Brussels (2 shows, and sold out in a day).
I don't think Leonard has a say in this, but he must be aware, or his management.
After all, it's his (farewell?) tour.
We did Bruges, for 50 euro, and it was truly wonderful. For 8000 people.
No need to price higher, unless ............you're only in it for the money.
Hail, Bruges!

Re: Cohen concert in Rome
The price depends on the venue.
Lucca (Piazza Napoleone, Lucca Summer Festival) was from 40 to 80 Euros.
Konzerthaus in Vienna (Sept. 25) is 200-300 Euros.

Re: Cohen concert in Rome
well, in fact my point wasn't against Leonard's choice
I was just talking about the situation of music in an important city like Rome, that i think is almost tragic
I'll always love Cohen music, and I really hope to have another chance to watch his show, in another place or city
