It is sad to hear of Scott Walker's death. A very talented individual.

It's so sad to hear that Scott has died. I first saw him performing with the Walker Brothers in 1966 and saw him singing solo twice in 1968. I have multiple copies of his first four great solo albums. Here's a Scott song from 1969 that has some of the same qualities as Leonard's "Sisters of Mercy":

A lovely song, John.

I was just listening to this one based on Ingmar Bergman''s classic film.

I would like to add my name to the list of Scott Walker fans.
I have delighted in his voice since The Walker Brothers and through Scott 1 to Scott 4.
After I moved to Australia, I lost track of his work as his albums didn't ever seem to make it into my local record stores.
He has been a magnificent interpreter of the songs of Jacques Brel and Tim Hardin, as well as many of his own composition.
I have often wondered how he would have dealt with a Leonard Cohen song.

After Leonard, he is the artist I listen to most often.
