yeah this album exceeded all expectations i had for a new album. funnily enough i still think "Accidents Will Happen", the b-side to the leadsingle is the best new song. :D

Oh no, again B-sides.... :lol: He did it again; last few albums (all after No More Shall We Part) were having better B-sdies than album tracks, Nocturama in particular.

Just got this yesterday... I'm trying to find my way into it, but it hasn't grabbed me by the throat just yet.

Anyone going to see old Nick on the upcoming tour? If you're going to the Hammersmith show, yell for Tupelo!

love this record, love the last few records. I'm hoping this tour finds its way to north america soon..

For what it's worth I'm with johnny7moons.

However I'm sure with time.................................

With Nick I always seem to enjoy the studio outtakes and bootlegs more than his official releases

except of course for The Boatman's Call which is just so so perfectly beautiful

"Boatman's Call" and "No more shall we part" are absolute highlights. Haven't listened to "DLD" yet. I heard it is Grinderman like.

Loving this album,Nick is still at the top of his game,my favourite album of his is "No more shall we part",this is however....nothing like that one :) ,very energetic album,4/5 maybe more with more time,go get it kids! worth it for "We call upon the author to explain" alone
