When you get your luminous orange tabard be careful where you stand people could mistake you for traffic wardens. Just so you are aware.

I was heading to London (from Canada) to see Philip Glass perform 12 Parts on the 21st. Only recently I learned that the Leonard Cohen and Philip Glass will have Leonard Cohen in person...well I hadn't bought tickets (as I didn't know Leonard would be there and I am hesitant with Philip's newer work) and by the time I learned that Leonard would be there in flesh & spirit my plane was booked and I couldn't make the show even if I had wanted. However, last night, I had a message on the answering machine...my flight was cancelled and I was thrown on a new one permitting me enough time to make the LC/PG event...

So: does anyone have an extra ticket? Please?....
(I will beg at yer feet)

Where do I buy 60 luminous orange tabards from (before Saturday)?

spare ticket

Post by hydriot »

Please remember that I have been queuing patiently for a spare ticket since Saturday (see page 9 of this thread). I am only two and a half hours from the Barbican, and have even given Padma my mobile number, so if any of you can't make it even at the last minute, tell her and I'll jump on the coach.

Following opinions on the Cardiff performance, it seems like our gathering before and after could be the best bits! Of course we will have the bonus of seeing Leonard's conversation with Glass! Must keep an open mind.

see you in Camden,
Margaret

Joney and Margaret, and everyone, Rob and I both said last night that we were glad we made the effort to see the concert. It was, er, interesting, and different  . Don't let our opinions put you off, you might like it.

And I too can't wait to see everyone, including Leonard!

Paula has promised to knit the orange tabards.

Padma has paid £150 for hire of room and facilities, so we will be asking everyone for £3 when you arrive. Please arrive at noon if you can as the time will soon pass!

Thanks for the dates, Diane. 3 Pounds sounds ok to me. Does it include a meal ? I'm off for the trip now. See you later.
