Is there any truth in the rumour that anyone buying Knorr cup-a-soup at the summit cafe gets a free bar of chocolate

I always have a pint of Green and Blacks dark chocolate ice cream in the freezer - organic of course. I think it is good for what ails you.

I won't be joining you in Barmouth. It's quite clear from Diane's (and Tim's) comments, and I'm including their posts which appeared briefly before deletion, that they're more interested in no-one disturbing their trip than any concern about racist comments. Clearly Welsh aren't welcome

Diane please could you cancel my Robeson reservation - if I owe you please advise. Thanks

Here's a poem that came to me during break time today:

Sink Pound sink
I need another drink
right in time for Wales
the Euro hissed the sails

I also had a break this morning but this is all my muse came up with......

The was a desperate young man called Franz
Who decided to take a chance
He travelled to Wales
Where he told tall tales
But still he could not find romance.

Well, I decided to go for a walk with the walking boots on today. Sweet lamb! Talk about getting four seasons in one day!

All started plain sailing. Sunny, not too warm. Perfect walking weather. Music in my ears , what more could a girl want.
Out ten minutes and suddenly this gusty wind came from nowhere and I'm almost walking backwards. After that struggle the wind calms and then the showers started. No umbrella or hood so just had to weather it as we say. Hair slowly turning from straight to curly. I kept on going, determined to do at least 2 miles to make the boots look a bit worn before I get to Wales. After a mile or so. I started to sweat , women of a certain age will know what I am talking about :) . At this stage I wanted to throw my jacket away.
I turned for home then, I had had enough! When i caught a glance at myself in the mirror when I got home, I looked like something the cat would refuse to drag in.

What the hell have i let myself in for in Wales.

Just for the record it's only horses that sweat.

Horses sweat, men perspire and ladies merely glow.

So you were glowing not sweating
