Hello all.
My very first question on the boards (I've been lurking for years but only now just registered) and it's about his books.
Does anyone know if there is any considerable value attached to a M&S first edition of 'Beautiful Losers'?
A friend was looking at it a few days ago and offered me $100 for it but I'm reticent to part with it for any amount of money.
He also noted a Michael Ondaatje book on Cohen that I have and wanted to buy that too.
Love this site and have some old newspaper and magazine clippings going back to the early 70's which I'm going to start putting up.
Cheers.

Re: Books
I would check around on eBay and Amazon to find an average selling price for this. If I were you, I would hang on to it. I have a first edition Spice Box of the Earth that belonged to a library in Queens, NY. I cherish it because some of the rental dates coincide with Leonard's stay in NYC. It's ironic how this book was being checked out from a library close to where Leonard's first album was being conceived.
