Er, I think that in every info at DIME website it says that the trading and circulating of recordings in MP3 format is unwelcomed, because then the copies get mixed and sourced dire, and the scene is full of MP3 source versions which is substantially worse than flac (lossless!) source... One of the rules of the website from which you're copying those infos is that you are expected to trade shows further but only in flac, never mp3.

Ah, well thanks for reading the small print for me! :?

I will have to remove the mp3s then but will put everything up in FLAC, so no worries. I will do it gradually though as the next few days are busy at work.

To listen to the FLAC recordings, you will need to download and install a player such as VLC (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/), which is free.
Alternatively, you can download and install a converter such as FreeRip (http://www.freerip.com/), and convert the file into .mp3 format. It is also free and easy to use.

Thanks Tomsakic for alerting me to this, and sorry Dime for the mistake!

Sorry to bother you Tom but when you were reading Dime's code of conduct, did you see anything about zipped files. Are they ok?
I read all the stuff about maintaining a fair ratio so that's fine, I've got a healthy ratio and will be able to carry on downloading some more of the 2010 tour, if there is more (which is not the case right now), but if you happened to see anything about zipped files while you were reading about mp3s, it would save me having to go through all the small print again.

Cheers! :)

Edit: Also, I would be grateful for a link to this stuff about mp3s please if you can; I have just spent twenty minutes reading through their instructions and still can't find anything... I must be really thick! :?

Just to repeat, I will put the recordings back at the weekend, although this time they will be in FLAC format. Please read the last couple of posts above this one; this will explain why the links are not working! ;-)

Re: 2010 audience recordings (some available online)

Salzburg vine is going on well it seems, and today we're starting St. Margarethen circulation. I will start Zagreb as soon the tape is cleaned and ready; but first theres' a trip to Ljubljana I guess on Oct 12.

I have some other recordings if somebody is interested for a vine - Wiesbaden, Gent (1), plus mentioned Malmo and Oslo. Just write here and I can start it with one copy; it's not big deal and later it's up to you:)

ps. You can listen flac in usual Winamp, and for burning usual audio CD just use free software for dummies which converts and burn audio CD from any possible format with single click: ASHAMPOO BURNING STUDIO FREE 6.

ps2. I merged all threads about 2010 recordings and online links, and changed the title of topic, to avoid possible issues. Let's keep it discrete.

Quick update: I uploaded Wiesbaden in FLAC, but it is over 1GB which means you have to pay to download it. So I will reupload it in two parts; hopefully, that will do the trick. Sorry for the delay!

Edit: Thanks Tomsakic for offering to set up all the vines. It's great!

The LTB recording of Wiesbaden is highly recommended! Worth the big download, no doubt about it!

Yes, I haven't listened to it yet, but that's the Wiesbaden recording I'm uploading; I think you're the second person to say it's truly good!

Also, just wanted to remind you that these mp3 recordings are still available for download:
