I could not help but notice that Geoffrey's toast bears a remarkable resemblance to Wojtek Gęsicki's album cover. Both images were posted on this forum on the very same day, mere hours apart. Synchronicity, or...?

Great spot, but there is a crucial difference. Leonard is "brown bread".

5 minutes of my life wasted just to respond to Geoffrey's racist anti-Polski approach to the Cohen tribute dude, I couldn't bear to finish my work. I felt like a Po Jama People. In that 5 minutes, Geoffrey could have contributed to common culture by drawing 5 portraits of Leonard Cohen, I could have met 8 waitresses. Instead I just toyed with the early part of Famous Blue thingy, and inserted some precious word plays which no one will spot and about which no one will care.
You ask me why I do it and I reply, "mind your own business".
It's 10 in the evening , the start of December
I'm writing you now cos it's my turn
London is coldish, and I dislike where I'm living
There's music on the radio all through the day.
I hear that you found a little mouse deep in your dessert
It's ruined your appetite now, I hope you're keeping some kind of sick-bag.
Yes, and Bennyboy came with an original song
He said you should give it a quick listen
It don't last that long
Did he make himself clear?
Ah, the last time we saw you you had more than one shoulder
Your famous blue raincoat was stuck under a boulder
You'd listen to that Pop station to hear Benny's refrain
And you came home with that raincoat unclean
And you treated my woman to a flake made of choc
And she never came back from the Soviet Bloc
Well I see you there with your nose in your teeth
One more thin Polish thief
Jane's dead and has a wake

I actually heard that term used in a British murder mystery I was watching the other day. Had it not been for our recent conversation, I wouldn't have had a clue what it meant or why anybody would say it in that context!

Incidentally, I am glad that a few of the folks around here are most definitely not pyjama people! As that great Sorcerer Bertrand Russell once said: "The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time".
