It's a collage. It's Leonard-inspired. It's a bit sad. And it's called "Symbolism 101". Or in a less exotic language: "Grundkurs Symbolismus"

Chemical symbol for "Little boys justifying misogyny?" I think it's one of Leonard's nets, rather.

Thank you for posting a response, Casey!Casey Butler wrote:Chemical symbol for "Little boys justifying misogyny?" I think it's one of Leonard's nets, rather.
I don't really know what you mean, though ...
It's not meant as a riddle. It is simply a recreation of four album covers, each with a twist or two.
Sorry, you lost me. A net?Casey Butler wrote:I think it's one of Leonard's nets, rather.

Due to its title, I interpreted it as symbolism. I like symbolism but only if I can interpret it correctly. What is it symbolic of?
As for "net": I couldn't find a reference in any of the biographies or obituaries I read, but along with all of his other accomplishments Leonard Cohen is also an adequate fisherman.

It might be symbolic of a world without Leonard. A brocken, cracked world. But you know what they say about cracks.
(The keyword is not only "symbolism", but also "101".)

Yes, I know what he said about ringing bells...
We asked for signs
The signs were sent
The birth betrayed
The marriage spent
Yeah the widowhood
Of every government
Signs for all to see
...And what they say about cracks.
I can't forget.
Sorry about the misinterpretation!
