It is a beautiful opportunity right now to be watching the moon and to get a feel of where we are in relation to the sun and the moon

for a while longer you can see earth's shadow cross it and you know that by looking the sun is directly behind the planet.

let the feeling soak in and just be aware of what you are watching.

maybe that is the best dance we can do.

thinking that some of my friends are doing the same makes it that much more.

there is still time

A late arrival of the moon in these parts but a dancer in the West is also here, Jack.

I heard that if you were standing on the moon and looking at our earth, you'd see a halo of light around it which is all the light of all of the sunrises happening right now. Filtering around and thru us. And giving the moon some light.

Thanks for the image Christine.
I really liked that idea of us being in part of some halo. I lost my own a long time ago when it seemed like just one more thing to keep clean.

I have never been much of a watcher of the moon but I am sure glad I picked tonight as the night to do it. Maybe some day I will figure out why.

if these are the discussions that take place subsequently, I think I have learned that it is much worth the while to ban words.

reminds me of the words
The Holy One dreams of a letter
dreams of a letter's death
oh bless the continious stutter
of the word being made into flesh

There was a certain point of view during the evening of the luner eclipse that was strikingly similar to the image of:

O Crown of Light, O Darkened One,
Everything being said to you is true; Imagine of what it is true.
