The Lines of the Poet - the electronic version

Postby jarkko » Thu Jan 18, 2007 5:11 pm

From an email John Brinckman sent me:
I was at McGill with Leonard Cohen and Morton Rosengarten. A few years ago I wrote to your site about a book, The Lines of the Poet.

Now when one googles the book your site is so popular that my letter is at the top!

Is there some way you can see to it that if one googles the book the site at the National Library of Canada where they keep what they call an electronic edition of the book shows up somewhere? Maybe you could put this URL on your site....

The URL is ... index.html

There are twelve other poets, a number of them his friends, for example the recently deceased Irving Layton, whose portraits by Morton are in the book.

I like the curves and softness of the lines that convey gentleness, depth, and strength in this portrait.

I'm sure the other ones are equally interesting.
