Re: never-ending gallery
I love the passage about K. T. spilling the wine. Went to our bookshelves to re-read it, but cannot find my copy. Maybe government censors visited and confiscated it. My copy of 1984 is also missing. Hmm.

Re: never-ending gallery
G, Your last drawing was clever, you even researched to make sure the date was plausible. When hovering over your drawings, one sees the titles you used for the jpg files (I had never noticed them before), some seem like titles you devised, while others seem Leonardesque. Is there any story behind t...

When I leave this earth, they'll say, "there was a man who never once checked his phone."

Hi Eva,
Very nice of you to post this.
Joann and I still talk about the tour of Leonard's Montreal that you took us on back in 2014, thanks for the trouble you took!

Leonard mentioned in "Forbes"
The December 2022 issue of "Forbes" contains a rather macabre article titled "Top-Earning Dead Celebrities of 2022," and Leonard's name is mentioned in it. He is number 7 on Forbes' list, his estate is estimated to have earned $55 million this year. The bulk of the $55 million ap...

Re: a lot of activity
G, could you do a follow-up version to your last drawing using Leonard's complete lyric as the title?

Re: Buns of Glory
That's cute. Had your poem been written by Leonard as his initial attempt, I wonder what the end result would have been after dozens of re-writings over weeks or months? I think it might be rated R rather than G, but who knows? I have to confess that when I clicked on you post I had misread the titl...

Re: Origins of Pink Floyd's Comfortably Numb
Hey Bev, I hadn't heard about this, it is interesting that the same company may own the back catalogues of my two favorite music artists/groups. For 40+ years I played DSOTM, WYWH, and to a lesser extent, The Wall incessantly, but strangely, never delved into any of their earlier or later albums. I ...

Re: never-ending gallery
people are afraid to say what they think for fear of making a bad impression, especially if one believes one is gifted. society decrees that it is wrong to express gratefulness for one's own talent. as i have mentioned several times earlier, my ego was removed some years ago - via auratransformatio...

Re: Before VARIOUS POSITIONS...and afterwards, book by Jim Devlin
Hi Jim, Just wanted to let you know that the tour books (I bought 3 different ones) are very interesting, chock full of Cohen tour trivia. Of particular interest are reading Leonard's banter with the audience during the concerts. I never had the pleasure of seeing him perform on any pre-2010 tours, ...

Re: Other old generation pop kings/queens you like
Robert, I am not sure what "old generation" means, but I am no longer young, so am answering. Two groups that I have gotten back into recently are Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd. For me, at least, their music has held up well. What makes a song great is in the ears of the listener, but I will ...
