Re: Average age of LC fans? I'm 16 btw
Hi Vicomte it was the RAH. I saw him on every tour after that first concert. At the RAH a few times, Victoria Apollo and Hammersmith Odeon. I have only got the new tour dates on my footer. Good job they did not have the internet then it would have cost a fortune to follow him.

Re: Average age of LC fans? I'm 16 btw
I went to my first Cohen concert when I was 16 I am 60 now. But I first heard him when I was 14 on a sampler LP called "The Rock Machine turns you on". My children were brought up hearing his songs and can recognise a Cohen song at 20 paces!

Re: Are ticket prices too high?
I saw the Who at the Concert for Bangladesh at the Oval in 1971. Amazing concert. And there was a time in the early 70's when Eric Clapton seemed to pop up at everyone's gig. I remember seeing Little Stevie Wonder at the Odeon in Streatham in the early 70's and Eric Clapton popped up from the audien...

Re: LC Walking Weekend (2009, 2011, 2013)
I looked at the sail and rail option Margaret would have taken nearly 12 hours to get there. I have bitten the bullet and am going by Ryanair only 1 hour 10 minutes of absolute terror for me

Well done to the Irish welcoming committee. For those like me who live on the mainland and don't like flying it is doable overland so I am happy.
