Re: An imporant massege to dear Leonard

There is really no point in writing messages like these. In the first place, only Jarkko knows for sure but I think it is very unlikely that Cohen reads this forum. And even if he does, the decisions on where to play are ultimately made by big management companies, taking into account lots of factor...

This has just surfaced on Dime as well. Great picture quality and menus. Only problem is the songs are subtitled in Spanish which is very distracting.

Anyone an account that I can use for one time :-?
Dime is always at the maximum. But they delete users all the time so you just have to keep trying often, at different times of day. You will eventually get in.

Not being funny but have you considered changing your ISP?

Not at all. The setlist was the same as the previous night in Bruges and other nights as well. A Thousand Kisses Deep is not always done.

Re: US Tour?

As has been written on this forum a number of times, no-one knows the answer to this question. No decisions have yet been made and you will just have to wait and see.

2008 tour recommendations: sound quality

What are people's views on the best sound quality recording of the tour so far? I am on Dime and I have the Moncton show, which is excellent (almost professional live album quality). Are there any other recordings on Dime which are as good sound quality as this one? Many thanks.

Re: GREAT britain, SMALL concerts -

what are the chances for this kind of things to happen, and when will it be announced? None of us knows the answers. You'll just have to wait for the tour announcement like everyone else. Having done Britain quite extensively in the summer, he may not go back there at all. If he does, though, I'd b...

Re: What I don't like about these shows

How many of those other artists perform faultlessly three solid hours of wall to wall classics each night? Answer: none. That is entirely a matter of opinion, of course. I'm with you on Dylan, but the Springsteen and Young shows I saw this year were both three hours long and were indeed full of wha...

Re: What I don't like about these shows

I would think that most singers/bands do more or less the same show every night on a tour. nothing wrong with this and it would be a bit much asked for to do something totally different every night. Look at the four great rockstars on tour this year - Dylan (OK, he's always on tour), Springsteen, Y...

What I don't like about these shows

Some comments about the shows on the Copenhagen thread here are worthy of further discussion, IMHO: http://www.leonardcohenforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=11564 I should say that I haven't seen a show yet (I'm off to Bruges on Thursday) but I've heard a number of the recordings. What is bothering...
