Re: Leonard Cohen and "45m2"

Damn, I've been forever marked by Facebook-I was looking for the "Like" button after reading your post, Andrew. Enjoy the movie, and say hello to the cute cat in it for me!

And, Maarten, I think at 4 in the morning you are supposed either to be asleep or sing Famous Blue Raincoat. Which one are you doing here?!

Re: LC Walking Weekend (2009, 2011)

Seriously, I still have no idea what Borussia Dortmund is (and no, I don't want to know!) but it must be bigger than I thought. The other evening I ran in the supermarket into a girl wearing a hoodie with a big Borussia writing on the back... Since the girl was entirely asian, and I am entirely in t...

Re: Meetup close to Ghent - Saturday, August 20 2011

Don't know how Sint-Niklaas is, but I remember the Bruges concert in 2008... my first Cohen concert... and desperately wandering the streets of at least half of the city afterwards, with a large group of cohenites (that kept getting lost on the way), trying to find a place that was still OPEN!

Re: Rufus Wainwright on LC, Lorca and Viva in BBC Two progra

I think the BBC is only available in the UK (which is about the only advantage I get from being in this country!) But so far I haven't been that impressed with what Rufus says about Lorca, no real revelations there. He says they've been friends for many years, and she always wanted to have a child. ...

Ute, I thought that's the way a happy yard is supposed to be! Of course, it might only apply to chickens...

Considering the characters portrayed, I guess it's not the food you should avoid, Dave, but the liquid stuff!

Are you sure you are not pulling our leg with that, sebelmoth? That has to be the most horrendous article title I have ever heard; it's wrong for so many reasons I wouldn't even know to list them-one being that I can't imagine that the man who wrote "100 floors above me" wouldn't want to b...

Not only in the port, I think, Sue; we also had dinner once at a restaurant on the way to Leonard's house (what is the name of that place?!) and I was sitting next to you and Eric from Ireland and, to be honest, at some point so much native-english speaking almost put me to sleep...
