Re: cohen vs. dylan
I'm sorry, but I just don't understand what the whole fasination with Bob Dylan is all about. His lyrics are too plain and simple. I never understood what was so special about his songs. I can't stand his voice, his music or his looks. He annoys me. I thought I must be the only LC fan who doesn't l...

oh 'phew! I'm so glad you got to see him. Would have been terrible if you hadn't. Horrible thing to have happened - glad you had a wonderful evening in spite of that. Happy journey home with your LC concert memories!

Re: An imporant massege to dear Leonard
There is really no point in writing messages like these. In the first place, only Jarkko knows for sure but I think it is very unlikely that Cohen reads this forum. And even if he does, the decisions on where to play are ultimately made by big management companies, taking into account lots of facto...

Re: Dear Heather
I've been a fan of Leonard for 40 years, but I really struggle to listen to th 'Dear Heather' CD. Everything else I love and play ad nauseum, but I'm really glad none of the songs were included on this tour. Strange - I felt the same. I love every single one of Leonard's CD's except for Dear Heathe...

Happy hunting

Re: What I don't like about these shows
Bela, if you haven't seen him before, it will be the ultimate. You will love it and not mind what is posted here. I had my "one night" in Manchester, and melted with happiness. Don't worry. I just wanted to see him so badly, he could have recited the telephone book to be honest. Well, ok, ...

Re: Edinburgh Help!
Thank you and good morning lovelies! Problem is that I blew the budget on Manchester! I hired a 5 star apartment with a knock-down rate (2 bedrooms so mum could babysit little one) and we had Champagne etc. It was really nice and special. Maybe I should crack open next year's budget early! But, then...

Any old way, just leaping back to the Manchester thread - what was the kefuffle on the front row on the Friday night after the concert finished? Who saw it? There were police and everything!

Re: Do Boys Love Leonard more than Girls do?
Ha ha! Lovely stuff. I'm a young female fan and yep - at the Manchester concert it was mainly middle age blokes (not all but you know what I mean). However, hanging around the stage door was a gaggle of attractive young female fans, and the general concensus of opinion was he might be knocking on a ...
