Leonard's Piano Piece
Although I love to hear his 'Golden Voice', I really like the piano piece TACOMA TRAILER, the last track on The Future. Different, but I love to listen to it. Plus most of my favourite poems are his lovelorn poems and now he seems so happy and content with his life, will he be writing any more of th...

Re: A CD of Spoken Poetry?
Agree with that. Can we not all put our word forward for poetry reading. Only Leonard himself can read them as they should be read. I run a poetry group and it would be great to let them hear how his poems should be read. Somehow they don't sound the same when I recite them to the group !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi I'm new here and so have no idea which forum this should go in! Does anyone know of, or have a decent quality recording of the spoken word A Thousand Kisses Deep he's been performing recently? I saw him in Edinburgh and was captivated. I've watched a few on youtube (if anyone hasn't heard this -...

You could not have said it better. I agree.commonweal wrote:We've given it to him, and at several of these recent shows he has thanked us.
Our present is to keep these songs alive all these years.
It's nothing in comparison with what he has given us, maybe, but it's every writer's dream.

Re: CONCERT REPORTS: New York, May 16 and 17
This message is a bit behind time but only just noticed it. I booked a holiday in NewYork last May. The Gods above must have known because I JUST HAPPENED to be there when Leonard was on at Radio City. I could not believe what I was seeing. Got tickets before leaving UK and ,yes, it had to be the hi...

Yesterday's Tomorrow
Started to re-read Yesterday's Tomorrow, marc Hendrickx, and got to the page that says
After coming to England Leonard decided to travel 'because he could not get used to the English climate'
I wonder what he was thinking when he seemed to be getting as wet as us at Weybridge !
