Re: O2

Oh, and as to when O2 tickets are sent out, it's varied massively for me in the past. I have my Kylie ticket for July 30 already, so I will guess that the Leonard tickets will be sent out soon, maybe in May.

Re: O2

David, you are funny, turning misery to comedy, so thanks. :) On the plus side, there's usually a massive video screen at the O2, which is 100 percent necessary, as nearly everybody there will need to look at it to see Leonard's expressions, since the room is so ridiculously big. . .

Re: VIAGOGO GUARANTEE TICKETS

Safer maybe, but more expensive, because they charge so much for their service, just like Seatwave (which I naively used to buy a Wednesday Manchester ticket, before realising I would have saved money on ebay), and they don't have the same selection as ebay, either, at least right now. There's many ...

Sue, of the 20,000 people there, only 20 will be closer to Leonard than you, the 20 people in A2, Row 1. What amazing seats! I only hope A2 Row 1 isn't a basketball team! :)

Re: Guardian/Manchester Thursday gig...

elljay, Well spotted. Ticketmaster will obviously be processing the sales for the Guardian. At a guess, the Guardian will contain a password which you will need to enter into a promotional code box on the Ticketmaster website to purchase tickets, and the Tickets will go on sale at 10am, and be sold ...

Re: Avoiding Scams and Touts & Dealing with eBay

In an ideal world, I agree with David. I wish you could only collect the tickets in person from the box office on the day, by presenting your credit card, which would cut out most touts. However, if I do have to buy tickets from ebay/stubhub/and the like, I don't "verify" them with the box office. M...

Re: manchester opera house

Jim, if you don't have a ticket, and want to go to Manchester, buy the Guardian on April 4. The Guardian have 1,600 tickets to sell/distribute for June 19, and they will explain how they are doing this in that issue. The other three days in Manchester are sold out, and the touts on ebay are charging...

Re: Avoiding Scams and Touts & Dealing with eBay

Good tips concerning ebay. I don't have a paypal account, so I pay by cheque (or "check," if you are from the USA :)) when I need good seats. I don't get paypal protection, so I make sure I buy from 100 percent feedback sellers, as you suggest, who have a long record on ebay. My tip is to withhold y...

Re: WOE AARGH

Rachel, if you have been defrauded, that's awful. As Leonard says, "Everybody knows" the world is like this. . . :( If you want to try again, I think ebay are the best of the touts because you can look at the record of all the individual sellers and make a sound judgement. If somebody has sold 200 t...

Re: London 02 Arena - is Block 106 raked (tiered)?

Yes, It is tiered. I saw Take That from 106 (I was dragged along, honest!), and it was a frontal view, though far away. If you look at the photo above, the front of 106 (on the right side of the photo) is empty, there, because there's some kind of camera equipment in the middle (I'm sure it won't be...

Re: London, 02 Arena, July 17

Just a note for those who've never been to the O2 arena, in case you're wondering what the different seating blocks are like, here's my opinion of the seating, te best listed first: Block A: on the floor, is BEST (with A2, the best of all)! It's the closest you can get to Leonard. The only disadvant...
